Stefan Ludik



Actor and performing artist Stefan Ludik represented his native Namibia in Big Brother Africa in 2003 which launched him into the world of celebrity and ensured the start of a very successful career in music and acting.

Stefan appeared popular soapie Egoli – Place of Gold, followed by 7de Laan and had the lead role in KykNet’s action series Transito and Binnelanders. 2005 saw the release of his debut album Liggroen Doringbome, a mix of Afrikaans and English songs. This release was followed by the self-produced album Vuur en Water in 2007 that resulted in a Eurovision Music Video Award nomination. In 2010, Stefan put together an English language urban rock band LUDIK.

The band has taken the South African music industry by storm with their debut album Burn This Town (Sony Music) that has hip-hop and dance undertones layered with powerful guitar riffs. Stefan has been recognised by the Sunday Times as Namibia’s foremost export since Michelle McClean.
